If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit cannot be read by third parties.

The game format
Whether it's individual questions one after the other or the popular Jeopardy view with many or just a single area - with TEDME everything is possible. The process of a knowledge quiz is very simple. Just like in the popular TV puzzle show, your participants can choose from which section and for which number of points they want to answer a question.
Once they have clicked on a field, they now have to answer the question correctly. The TEDME system automatically awards the points shown in the selected field for correct answers.
The aim is for each player to collect as many points as possible in a short space of time.
If you click on a question incorrectly (in this case 4,105 metres), you will not receive any points, will be told the answer is green and will also lose valuable playing time.
Multi-player or group duels
You can organise such a knowledge quiz so that everyone plays against everyone else or so that there are groups that compete against each other. In a group game, each group receives its own TEDME pin, i.e. access to a room. Both of these options encourage competition between the participants and it depends on your event as to what works best.
For example, if you are organising an event for your company, you could have different departments or branches compete against each other. This also works perfectly for hybrid satellite events.

But you can also set up and realise such group duels at regular live events where your participants do not know each other beforehand. In this case, for example, people in different conference rooms play against each other.
What further fuels the competition between the groups is the fact that individual players with only a few points will lower the average result of this group. It's like in sport or in professional life - one failure can drag the whole team down.
Knowledge quiz at online, onsite and hybrid events
The really good thing about a digital solution like TEDME is that you can use it to implement a knowledge quiz in all event formats.
At a live event, display the progress bars on the main stage for all participants to see. If several groups are competing against each other, we recommend that you also display the bars of the other groups in all rooms.
This can be realised in the same way for an online event. Simply play the TEDME bars in the different video rooms or on the stages in your broadcasting studio.
If you are organising a hybrid event, we recommend displaying the bars on the stage for the on-site audience and integrating the data for the online audience separately into the streaming image. Place TEDME next to your live stream
A now familiar user experience for the vast majority of participants: The video image of the live stream is on the left and the polls, Q&A rounds and all comments are on the right. Here are two examples of how you can add the TEDME elements to your live stream.
In the first example, you integrate two TEDME elements, i.e. containers, to the right of the live stream.
In the second example, you can see that the TEDME functions are integrated as overlapping elements. Firstly, the voting questions appear to the right of your video image. You can also display a "Ask question" field. This is then superimposed over the window with the voting questions.
To ensure that your open session is also displayed in this area, first start the session in TEDME with an expiry date and a PIN of your choice. Then copy the desired code for the iFrame integration into your event platform. You will find the list of useful codes in the settings of your session in TEDME as soon as you are logged into your account.
Individualise the TEDME area
Customise the area that is displayed next to your live stream to suit your needs and requirements. You can integrate the following functions:
- Voting
- Ask a question
- List of questions

You can also specify that
- this room is automatically entered when the iFrame is loaded,
- individual names of the participants are displayed,
- the language of the user is also transferred,
- a profile picture for the chat is transferred and displayed,

Integrate several TEDME functions into the event platform in parallel

If a moderator starts a voting or a participant enters the session, the voting is displayed next to the live stream.

Customise TEDME to your layout and that of the event platform
In addition to the CI settings for colour and logo, you or your web designer can also store individual CSS in your TEDME account under "Project settings" if you want to customise the view even further. Thanks to customised CSS, you can, for example, position the buttons the way you like them or adjust the font. This allows you to customise different areas and views of your event and your interactions, for example the participant view or the stage view for the co-host.

Do you want to offer your event in different languages? Then you can store the questions and welcome texts in different languages.
To do this, first create the questions in your main language and save them. You can then edit the questions and transfer them into different languages. Also remember to add the iFrame code for these language options accordingly and insert it into your event platform with one click.
